Fringe is a TV series (created by J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci) about the Fringe Division of the FBI. The team is comprised of department head Phillip Broyles, Agent Olivia Dunham, Agent Lincoln Lee eccentric fringe scientist Dr. Walter Bishop, his genius son Peter Bishop and his assistant Agent Astrid Farnsworth. The team investigates cases that mainstream government agencies would consider unusual, unexplainable or paranormal.
