Do Not Fear Yellow
Don't be afraid of yellow
I know, yellow can be scary. As a long-time black T-Shirt aficionado, I will be the first to admit that I initially found our yellow shirt ("It's Alive") a touch intimidating. I laid it on my bed, looked at it from a few different angles, and pondered the effects that donning such garb would have on my psyche. At long last I took the plunge, and I'm here to tell you, the water is nice.
If you're a regular here, you know that we choose Black tees quite often when we create a new shirt. This is only marginally due to our preference for the color. Primarily, we choose Black because that is what you buy. To be honest, I'd like to change that. I want to produce more brightly colored shirts, but I need your help. You have to help change the way the sales chart in Figure A looks. You need to resist the urge to shriek and mash Alt-F4 if a light-colored shirt on our website finds its way into your field of vision.
I added lots of color to my wardrobe, and I'm in a better place now. I still wear black shirts regularly, but light blue, white, light gray and yellow have become regulars in my rotation. Join me. I have no advantage here. My skin is just as pale as the next geek, despite the San Diego weather's best (and failed) attempts at tanning me. Men and women, geeks and gamers, tan people and fellow ghosts, if you wear yellow, link me to a photo and I will proudly post it here.
