Folks, it’s time to get creative. What do our favorite champions do when they aren’t battling on the Fields? We’re pretty sure we all know what Brolaf does on his weekends, and odds are Warwick spends his Saturdays working on his grandma cosplay. But what does a Gem Knight do off the clock? Does he shine bright like a diamond? Watch the Valoran Grammy’s?

Your answer to these burning questions could win you Legendary skins and other swag including the T- shirt you designed!

Submission Guidelines and Rules

Follow the Theme:

Your design should be based on our contest theme:
“Champs IRL”.

Focus on representing the fun, imagination and endless possibilities of how the Champions might fill their time between selection for matches. The idea is up to you, so feel free to express yourselves and be creative! All submissions must be related to the “Champions Between Matches” theme to qualify for voting.

Submission Requirements:

If you make an amazing piece of art that doesn’t fit our theme, not only will we treasure it forever, we will disqualify it from the contest! So, don’t do that. To guide your way, check out these nifty submission requirements.

  1. Don't be a newb: Use the Submission Kit.
  2. No hax0rz: Your submission must be 100% your own. No existing game assets, screenshots, logos, icons, photo sampling, etc are allowed.
  3. Follow the theme: Your design must be easily identified as a League of Legends design, and display the theme of champions and what they do outside of the rift.
  4. Earn your Honor: Designs must be appropriate for an audience of all ages, and follow the Summoner's Code
  5. Seriously: It's worth saying twice. Crude and controversial content will be disqualified.
  6. Although you will be submitting your art at a lower resolution - 72 dpi (dots per inch) for web - you will want to create your art at 300 dpi, with a max size of 17" wide by 21" tall. If you win, we will request the high resolution version.
  7. Fill all your slots: Two images must be submitted: a 150x150 px thumbnail of your design, and a main display image which should be exactly 900 pixels wide and 533 pixels tall.
  8. Last one: The main image submission may be in JPG, GIF, and PNG format.
  9. Juked! Actual last one: We need you submit by 11:59 PM PST on March 21.

Qualifying Designs:

Once the deadline to entry has passed, submissions will be screened by us. Designs given the stamp of awesome will be posted on the League of Legends T-shirt Design Contest page for a public voting round at a later date. Again, any submission that doesn’t follow the rules for qualification will never ever, ever make it to voting.

We have to keep the number of submissions for voting to a manageable level. As always, the legal team has more fleshed out rules on the official blathering page.

Vote For Your Favorites:

Voting will commence on Friday, March 22, and runs through Friday, March 29. Winning entries will be selected via a combination of public votes plus input from the creative teams at Riot and J!NX. The winning designs will be announced between April 8 and April 12, pending responses from the winners. Only one vote is allowed per design per member.
