Art Director

J!NX is currently seeking a full-time Art Director to lead our experienced Art Department. The ideal candidate will successfully manage our talented Art team's day-to-day development of licensed apparel and products.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage the day-to-day functions of the Art Department, including direct oversight of Art Department employees and freelance artists.
  • Responsible for carrying out assigned tasks while adhering to the Creative Director’s vision.
  • Brainstorms and collaborates with the Creative Director, and provides guidance and inspiration to Art Department employees.
  • Coordinates with Sales Department on creation of product line sheets
  • Ensures that the Art Department adheres to brand consistency for a variety of licensed properties.
  • Responsible for managing product creation timelines from inception to final art delivery
  • Functions as the primary point of contact to the Production Department.
  • Leads Art Department meetings.
  • Delegates projects and tasks to Art Department employees, and sees them through to completion.
  • In collaboration with the Creative Director, makes and carries out personnel decisions.
  • Report to work in a timely and regular manner

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
  • Education level: Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Design, or similar, preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience supervising an art team.
  • 5+ years of experience designing for the apparel industry.
  • Experience designing for the toy industry a plus
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong critical analysis skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of what makes a great, fashionable, and wearable shirt design.
  • Must be immersed in the geek and video game culture, and able to stay abreast of current trends in geek and gaming community.
  • Must be able to work in a seated or standing position for up to 8 hours a day.
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Must be available to work a normal M-F schedule, and also be available for occasional off-hours work as circumstances dictate.

NetSuite Consultant (Contract)

J!NX is currently seeking a NetSuite Consultant for a temporary contract position to help us get the most out of NetSuite.

The ideal candidate will be a NetSuite guru who can assist us with our recent systems conversion by implementing best processes and educating our staff on writing reports to efficiently run our business.

Essential Functions
  • Write reports using NetSuite, and train other J!NX employees on how to create recurring and ad-hoc reports
  • Demonstrate expertise by providing sound, creative technical approaches and exhibiting a thorough knowledge of NetSuite
  • Understanding J!NX business requirements and translating them into business solutions
  • Function as a support/technical resource for J!NX employees at our office location in Poway, California
  • Coordinate with Directors, Managers and hourly staff to determine system fixes, enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades as required
  • Report for work in a timely and regular manner, as required
Qualification and Skill Requirements
  • Three plus years NetSuite experience, particularly with the Financial, Sales Processing,Procurement, and Inventory Management modules
  • Two plus years of experience customizing NetSuite Implementation
  • Must be familiar with NetSuite in the context of a company with multi-location inventory, production build and materials
  • Proficient with business applications, especially MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Must be able to commit to an agreed-upon number of hours per week; estimated to be up to but not exceeding 40 hours per week and/or eight hours per day
  • This is a temporary, contract position tentatively scheduled to last no longer than two(2) months
Job Information:
  • Compensation: $75-$90/hour, DOE. This is a W2 position, not 1099
