While the aliens resemble earth's familiar and lovable felines, these mutants are no house cats, but a ferocious and destructive race, intent of kidnapping earth's bovine population for unknown yet undoubtedly sinister purposes and destroying mankind just for kicks. A small but brave resistance force has risen to fight the invaders, often using their own technology against them, and occasionally water spray bottles. On a more personal note - I must say that I for one welcome our new cat overlords.
