Hats/Head
Use a flexible tape to measure the circumference of your head above your eyebrows.
Neck
Use a flexible tape to measure the circumference of your neck (at the Adam's apple). It should be loose enough that your finger will easily slide between the tape and your neck.
Chest
Lift your arms up, and wrap a flexible tape measure around the highest part of your chest and shoulder blades. Drop arms to your sides (over the tape) to take the measurement. Remember, it should be under your arms!
Sleeve
Make an angle with your arm, by bending it and placing your hand on your hip. Use a flexible tape to measure from the base of your neck, across your shoulder, and down around your elbow to your wrist.
Waist
Wrap a flexible tape around your waist, a couple of inches below your navel and right below the hipbones that poke out in the front. Keep one finger comfortably between your body and the measuring tape to make sure it's not too tight.
Inseam
Take a pair of pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Run tape measure along the inside of the leg from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. Round to the nearest 1/2" to get your inseam. If you are purchasing pants you intend to machine wash, we suggest you add one inch to account for shrinkage. For outerwear, the inseam refers to the length of the jacket from the shoulder to the bottom hem.
